The Central Message of Acts
Acts is sometimes described simply as the history of the early church, but Luke’s story is larger than institutional history. Its true center is the risen Jesus Christ.
Jesus promises the Holy Spirit. Jesus commissions His witnesses. Jesus confronts Saul. Jesus continues to direct the mission. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to proclaim Him across geographical, ethnic, cultural, religious, and political boundaries.
